About the role

The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist will lead the development, promotion and supervision of safety policies and best practices across the organisation. You will act as the primary liaison with local authorities and ensure all projects meet EHS requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company’s Health & Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with internal standards and legal requirements.
• Represent the company before local authorities on EHS matters and obtain necessary certifications.
• Implement and oversee the Health & Safety Program, aligning it with local and global HSE standards.
• Monitor compliance with HSE indicators and keep up‑to‑date with relevant regulations.
• Analyse job tasks to identify risks, define preventive procedures and support project planning.
• Communicate EHS requirements clearly to employees, managers and stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate EHS reports and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in EHS methodologies.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Required skills

• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel.
