Caribbean Representative

About the role

The Caribbean Representative will lead the management and implementation of GGGI country programmes across the Dominican Republic, the Eastern Caribbean and Guyana. Reporting to the Latin America and the Caribbean Director, the role focuses on strategy, partnership development, donor engagement and resource mobilisation for the sub‑region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement with Caribbean governments and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to formalise Host Country Agreements and develop Country Planning Frameworks.
• Stabilise team dynamics and financial management within the Caribbean portfolio while driving sustained resource mobilisation.
• Coordinate country teams with HQ to ensure effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of projects.
• Identify and manage political, governance and operational risks across jurisdictions.
• Foster cross‑country collaboration among the Dominican Republic, Guyana and OECS members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in programme management, donor relations and resource mobilisation in a multi‑country context.
• Proven ability to work with governments, inter‑governmental organisations and development partners.
• Strong financial oversight and team‑leadership capabilities.
