Senior Full‑Stack Engineer (React/Node) – Backend‑Focused, Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to join a fintech‑focused team building resilient, data‑intensive systems for a tech‑powered real‑estate media company. The role is backend‑focused, covering everything from PostgreSQL schema design to polished React/Next.js user interfaces, and will be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle, from database schema design and backend implementation to frontend delivery and production monitoring.
• Design, build and maintain scalable event‑driven, distributed systems with strong reliability and data‑consistency guarantees.
• Develop complex PostgreSQL queries, migrations and transactional workflows for high‑performance financial operations.
• Implement integrations with third‑party services using webhooks, queues, retry mechanisms and reconciliation processes.
• Apply reliability engineering patterns such as idempotency, dead‑letter queues, outbox pattern and fault‑tolerant processing.
• Create responsive user interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to boost productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers and ensure compliance with SOC 2 and PCI‑DSS standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering end‑to‑end full‑stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Advanced experience with React and Next.js.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, raw SQL, query optimization and migrations.
• Proven experience designing event‑driven, distributed systems and handling financial or payment workflows.
• Experience working in regulated environments (SOC 2, PCI‑DSS) and with infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
