Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable data platforms that support our global HR services. The role will shape enterprise data architecture, build production‑grade pipelines, and set engineering standards across a complex environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the data architecture and platform strategy.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake and AWS.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and AI enablement practices.
• Design data models for transactional domains, including slowly changing dimensions and retroactive corrections.
• Implement and manage workflow orchestration using Airflow, Dagster or Prefect.
• Integrate vendor and partner data feeds via flat files, SFTP, APIs and webhooks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional data engineering experience with ownership of a production data platform.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions and query optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake (warehouse design, Snowpark, streams, tasks, dynamic tables).
• Strong Python programming ability for modular, tested data engineering code.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; high‑school diploma required.
