Remote Business Development Representative (Cold Calling)

About the role

Excell BPO is seeking a Remote Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound prospecting through cold‑calling. In this full‑time position you will qualify leads, schedule appointments and support the sales team in a high‑energy, people‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective clients and send follow‑up messages.
• Qualify leads, understand prospect needs and clearly communicate the value of Excell BPO services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing calendars and meeting logistics.
• Maintain accurate interaction records in CRM or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimise lead generation and meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Strong appointment‑setting and lead‑generation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer‑service mindset.
• Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
• Goal‑oriented, able to meet or exceed metrics and adapt to feedback.
• Previous BPO, sales or call‑center experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with call‑tool platforms.
• Competence in email, spreadsheet and online collaboration software.
