About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will lead the full lifecycle of capital and value‑improvement projects within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. The role focuses on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process transformation through new technologies and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of CapEx, VIP and product transfer projects, from concept and financial justification to implementation, validation and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources and risk, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners, monitor progress, report status and proactively manage deviations.
• Identify and drive a portfolio of Value Improvement Projects aimed at sustainable cost reduction through process, material or waste optimization.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase yield.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to solve root‑cause problems.
• Research, propose and implement new automation and robotic solutions, overseeing system integration and minimal production disruption.
• Manage equipment and process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) in compliance with regulatory protocols.
• Serve as central communication hub for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent information flow.

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable business results.
• Excellent communication skills to align internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight timelines.
