HR Specialist - Call Center Support

About the role

Join a global BPO leader as an HR Support Specialist, providing bilingual assistance for HR, payroll, benefits, and technology platforms. You will work from home in the Dominican Republic, handling inbound calls and delivering professional support to employees worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound HR‑related calls and tickets, offering clear, courteous assistance.
• Gather and assess customer information, identify root causes, and propose effective resolutions.
• Guide users through HR and technology platforms, including training on system features.
• Coordinate with internal teams to expedite corrections, adjustments, and issue resolution.
• Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and document outcomes.
• Identify and suggest process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• High school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in HR, payroll, benefits, or PEO environments.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Calm, professional demeanor during challenging interactions.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
