About the role

The Health and Nutrition Programs Manager will lead the strategic development, implementation and quality assurance of HiHFAD’s health and nutrition initiatives in Syria. Reporting to the Programs Manager, the role ensures that programmes are evidence‑based, impactful and aligned with the organization’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

Lead the creation of operational plans for health and nutrition programmes, ensuring alignment with HiHFAD’s overall operational plan.
Develop strategic plans, budgets and monitor spending for health and nutrition projects.
Conduct close field monitoring of activities to ensure they contribute to the country strategy.
Prepare timely and high‑quality performance reports for programmes and projects.
Promote evidence‑based learning and document effective practices.
Represent HiHFAD with donors, partners and stakeholders to strengthen relationships.
