About the role

The educational group CEF‑UDIMA is seeking a Director de Programa to lead one of its master’s programmes in Santo Domingo. The role combines academic oversight, faculty coordination, and strategic promotion to ensure high‑quality delivery and market relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the academic execution of the programme, monitoring faculty performance and ensuring adherence to calendars, methodologies, and learning objectives.
• Design and propose strategic academic activities such as masterclasses, webinars, and expert panels to raise the programme’s profile and attract new students.
• Provide continuous academic advising to participants, handling queries and supporting students throughout their international stay at UDIMA.
• Identify market trends, recommend content updates, and suggest expert faculty profiles to keep the curriculum cutting‑edge.
• Coordinate and oversee the development of Master’s theses (TFM), guaranteeing methodological rigor and compliance with postgraduate regulations.
• Act as the institution’s spokesperson in the area of expertise at industry events, media outlets, and professional guilds.
• Propose and develop short courses, seminars, or diplomas linked to the master’s themes, enriching the institution’s continuous‑education portfolio.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (mandatory) in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; PhD preferred.
• Minimum three years of technical or executive experience in the relevant business sector.
• At least three years of higher‑education teaching experience, preferably with a strong record in supervising and evaluating Master’s theses.
• Demonstrated ability in public relations, brand positioning, corporate networking, and student recruitment initiatives.
• Excellent communication, empathy, conflict‑resolution, and human‑resource management skills for supervising a faculty of experts.
