About the role
InterCaribbean Airways is hiring reservation and customer service agents for its call center in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The position supports a 24/7 operation, works five days a week including weekends, and occasionally requires after-hours work.
Key responsibilities
- Sell passenger tickets and provide information on itineraries and fares.
- Handle customer complaints about tickets when problems arise.
- Rebook passengers who miss their flights.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a customer service agent.
- Airline or aviation experience.
- Call centre or customer services experience.
- Fluent English and Spanish; French is an advantage.
- Availability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug test and obtain security clearance.
Required skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
