AI Engineer – Design and Ship AI-native Products

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer who will design and ship AI‑native products, from agentic workflow design through production operation. The role is hands‑on and requires ownership of end‑to‑end systems, ensuring reliable, safe, and scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic workflows that decompose tasks into reliable steps.
• Develop backend, API, and frontend components, and manage deployment and operations.
• Integrate tools and functions using MCP‑based integrations and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Ensure agents fail safely with idempotent operations, step limits, spend caps, and validation checks.
• Measure agent quality with repeatable test cases and trace execution to diagnose failures.
• Review AI‑generated code, enforce type safety, automated tests, CI gates, and clear definitions of done.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote technical conventions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering production software end‑to‑end (backend, API, frontend, deployment, operations).
• Deep expertise in at least one ecosystem (.NET, TypeScript, Python, or JVM) and ability to become productive in another.
• Proven experience designing agentic workflows and safe‑failure mechanisms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but strong demonstrated ability outweighs formal education.
