About the role

The Investment Trader will coordinate and manage investment portfolios for both the company and its investment trusts. The role involves evaluating risk‑return trade‑offs, negotiating purchase and sale transactions, and ensuring compliance with market regulations and internal investment policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute buying and selling strategies for securities based on market conditions and economic forecasts.
• Administer investment trusts, making decisions on securities purchases, sales, and optimal market rates within contractual timelines.
• Perform daily portfolio reconciliation, including cash‑flow matching, risk‑sheet verification, and balance validation.
• Monitor market quotations for securities and financial certificates, assess internal portfolio positioning, and propose strategic adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain dynamic financial models to support portfolio management and forecasting.
• Negotiate issuance, rate terms, and pre‑cancellation of financial certificates, ensuring proper instruction flow to back‑office and system registration (SIFI).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of operations and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum five years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in securities markets, with solid knowledge of financial accounting and macroeconomics.
• Strong understanding of banking laws, regulations, and internal investment policies.
• Proven negotiation expertise and cost‑benefit analysis capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal.
• Experience using SIOPEL system.
• Familiarity with SIFI platform for transaction registration.
