Technical Talent Acquisition Associate

About the role

Black Birch Group is seeking a Technical Talent Acquisition Associate to source, assess and place qualified technical professionals for our clients. The role blends strong recruiting expertise with a solid understanding of IT, cybersecurity, cloud, software and networking positions.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for a wide range of technical roles, including IT, cybersecurity, systems, networking, cloud and software positions.
• Review resumes, evaluate technical experience, certifications and alignment with job requirements.
• Conduct structured screenings to assess technical background, communication skills, availability and compensation expectations.
• Manage candidate activity and recruitment workflows in Zoho Recruit, ensuring accurate profiles, stages and documentation.
• Maintain and update job postings on LinkedIn and other relevant job boards.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and build active talent pipelines for recurring and hard‑to‑fill positions.
• Engage passive candidates, nurture long‑term relationships and stay current on new sourcing channels.
• Provide clear, professional communication to candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and client stakeholders to clarify requirements and present qualified candidates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Strong ability to evaluate technical resumes and assess fit for specialized IT roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate ATS records.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
