Supply Chain Project Manager

About the role

FL Technics is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to coordinate material requirements for aircraft maintenance projects, ensuring timely availability and cost‑effective sourcing across its global MRO network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all materials needed throughout aircraft maintenance projects and guarantee their timely delivery to production.
• Identify optimal sourcing options for non‑stock and AOG items, considering lead times, quantities and purchase prices.
• Create and track purchase orders, monitor open order status and manage material deliveries, including AWB numbers and receipt dates.
• Maintain material request reports, project killer lists and collaborate with team leaders, bay managers, planning and logistics to resolve material issues.
• Source and purchase aircraft components, arrange repairs or exchanges, and monitor critical material requirements for mechanics and planners.
• Track actual material costs against project targets and support optimisation of material usage.
• Prepare bills of materials for invoicing and coordinate material matters with customers and their ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, material management or logistics, preferably in aviation, MRO or aerospace.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) and strong analytical, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent operational requirements in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems (advantage).
