Senior Manager Talent Acquisition - Caribbean

About the role

Lead the Talent Acquisition function for Scotiabank across eight Caribbean markets, ensuring a pipeline of diverse, high‑quality talent that supports the bank’s strategic priorities and sustainable growth. The position is based in the Dominican Republic and reports to the Talent Acquisition Regional Director.

Key responsibilities

• Drive consistency, standardisation and continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools and practices to deliver an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of talent markets, competitive landscapes, labour regulations and workforce dynamics across the region.
• Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to influence workforce planning, succession, internal mobility and diversity initiatives.
• Design and execute differentiated talent attraction strategies for leadership, commercial, technical and digital roles, expanding access to diverse talent pools.
• Lead executive and leadership hiring, advising senior leaders on talent identification, succession alignment and external talent mapping.
• Generate and leverage talent acquisition analytics, performance metrics and market intelligence to anticipate risks, identify trends and improve decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition functions in complex, regional or multi‑country environments.
• Track record of designing and implementing talent attraction strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead executive and leadership hiring processes and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in using metrics, analytics and market intelligence to shape talent strategies.
• Advanced English proficiency and experience working in regional or global settings.
