Senior LIMS Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Senior LIMS Engineer you will design, develop, and customize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) using BPM workflows. You will work at the intersection of laboratory science and software engineering, delivering reliable solutions for life‑science research and diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize LIMS platforms, preferably Labbit or similar.
• Design and implement Business Process Modeling (BPM) workflows for laboratory operations.
• Query and manage data using SPARQL and RDF.
• Automate tasks and extend system functionality with Python.
• Integrate LIMS with other laboratory and business systems.
• Optimize laboratory workflows and ensure system reliability and performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with LIMS systems (Labbit or comparable).
• Hands‑on experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM).
• Knowledge of SPARQL and RDF.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
