Senior Flutter Mobile Developer

About the role

A digital product growth consultancy, supported by Emapta, is looking for a Senior Flutter Mobile Developer. The role is day shift (8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST), weekends off, and fully remote, with work-from-home arrangements. It suits someone with strong Flutter and Dart experience in e-commerce or DTC environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and document mobile features in Flutter and Dart, and manage the development backlog with a focus on speed, performance and UX.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect UI components and carry frontend work from design through QA approval.
• Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL and microservices with backend teams, ensuring reliable data exchange and error handling.
• Maintain scalable architectures and state management solutions using BLoC and Riverpod, and profile performance (frame render times, memory).
• Keep mobile and web functionality in sync with web engineering teams.
• Deploy apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, configure CI/CD pipelines and manage provisioning profiles.
• Take part in weekly backlog refinement, label tickets and define feature scope.
• Build mobile e-commerce features via Shopify's Storefront API, and integrate Sanity CMS for dynamic content.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, preferred.
• More than 5 years of mobile development in a DTC or e-commerce environment, including at least 5 years of professional Flutter and Dart experience.
• Proven experience integrating mobile apps with microservices, GraphQL and REST APIs, and turning Figma designs into code.
• Ability to work with backend and web teams, write clear tickets in Jira and maintain centralized engineering documentation.
• Preferred: 1 year in an agency or client-facing role, and experience in DTC, fashion or high-growth e-commerce.

Required skills

• Flutter, Dart, BLoC, Provider and Riverpod, and custom UI components.
• Preferred: CI/CD pipelines (Codemagic, Bitrise, GitHub Actions), Clean Architecture, Shopify Storefront API, Sanity CMS.
