Sea Logistics Reefer Customer Care Specialist – Export

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will support customers with accurate information, address inquiries, and resolve concerns related to reefer and temperature‑controlled export shipments. The role combines customer relationship management with coordination of sea‑freight export operations to ensure a seamless cold‑chain experience.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen relationships with customer contacts through daily interactions, regular visits and proactive guidance.
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and activities.
• Monitor the financial performance of each account and maximise gross profit.
• Provide timely pricing responses and manage quotations from start to finish.
• Coordinate and monitor reefer sea‑freight export shipments, ensuring compliance with cold‑chain requirements and a smooth customer experience.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in sea‑logistics export operations.
• Experience handling reefer cargo and solid knowledge of cold‑chain logistics.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and coordinate international export shipments.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
