Sales Development Specialist – Dominican Republic

About the role

The Sales Development Specialist will support the commercial objectives of the organization by managing a portfolio of customers in the Dominican Republic, promoting a range of maritime and non‑maritime services, and contributing to the Group’s image and values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute commercial visits and phone calls according to the action plan, recording reports in the CRM system.
• Sell and promote Group services such as e‑commerce, VAS, intermodal (CH), and CEVA solutions while adhering to pricing policies.
• Identify market opportunities, develop market share, and support vessel profile and benchmark analyses.
• Maintain and update commercial data, opportunities, and sales leads in the CRM on a weekly basis.
• Deliver quotations and pricing requests on time, manage contract renewals in Aqua or LARA, and follow up on portfolio payments.
• Participate in commercial events, expand professional networks, and ensure accurate reporting of activities and results.

Required profile

• College degree in International Business, Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the maritime industry and at least 1 year in a commercial role.
• Intermediate‑advanced proficiency in English (conversational).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for visit reporting and data management.
• Familiarity with Aqua and LARA contract platforms.
