Retail Service Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Service Agent to represent our brand at a ship center, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales of our logistics products and services. You will work directly with customers over the counter and by phone, helping them choose the right solutions for their shipping needs.

Key responsibilities

• Promote company products, services and packaging materials to customers in‑person and via phone, meeting sales targets.
• Process transactions, validate cash, reconcile packages, and prepare daily deposits following established procedures.
• Generate and run sales and inventory reports using internal systems.
• Provide over‑the‑counter assistance such as tracking shipments, verifying labeling, packaging, insurance values, hazardous‑material handling, and customs documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, open and close the branch, and support loading and unloading of shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and request packaging supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, audit, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI, retail inventory).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in retail sales and customer support within the logistics or transportation sector.
• Customer‑focused, results‑driven, strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer operation.
• Experience using scanners and printers.
• Familiarity with intranet or similar internal systems.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance tasks.
