Regulatory Reporting Lead Analyst

About the role

The Regulatory Reporting Lead Analyst joins Citi’s Controllers Organization and reports to the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. The role supports the preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reports to U.S. and local regulators, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, review, and submit regulatory filings and reports to U.S. regulators where applicable.
• Monitor key metrics, identify challenges, and manage discrepancies.
• Implement processes and controls to mitigate reporting risk.
• Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
• Support regulatory inquiries and examinations with accurate analysis.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Audit, and other functions to provide updates on regulatory developments.
• Assist in implementing U.S. and local regulatory changes within the reporting framework.
• Maintain and enhance internal control structures in collaboration with Risk & Controls.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years of experience in financial services and regulatory reporting.
• Intermediate knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports and exposure to Basel III, GAAP/SEC reporting, and CCAR stress‑testing frameworks.
• Strong ability to navigate large organizations, streamline information, and build repeatable processes.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex concepts.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and capability to identify and resolve conflicts and discrepancies.
