RDE PLS Engineer – Product Development

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a motivated RDE PLS Engineer to support product design, development, and manufacturing. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to bring new and improved products to market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical design support for existing and new products.
• Develop new product concepts and ensure design decisions reduce cost, improve quality, and meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate certification processes and maintain quality specifications.
• Conduct laboratory testing, manage deviation systems, and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Generate project reports, request capital as needed, and use PRO Launch for product line transfers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants to ensure smooth product introductions.
• Execute monthly safety inspections and attend required EHS training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with CAD tools.
• Knowledge of SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001.
