Quality Systems Manager

About the role

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, and processes. The role ensures compliance with internal and external standards, supports regulatory requirements, and drives continuous improvement across worldwide operations. You will work closely with operating entities, auditors, and cross‑functional teams to safeguard product quality and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight for the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality programs, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Interpret and apply regulatory, governmental, and internal regulations, offering guidance to operating entities.
• Lead audit and inspection preparation, manage findings, and coordinate with auditors and inspectors throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Prepare and deliver corrective and preventive action reports and related documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate legal requests supporting government investigations or litigation and ensure quality assurance programs are regularly updated.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in quality systems, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing quality processes, audits, and regulatory compliance in a regulated industry.
• Strong ability to analyze processes, develop operational plans, and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience supervising staff, conducting performance reviews, and fostering talent development.
