QC Engineer – Quality Control Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a QC Engineer to support engineering and production processes on our manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with Vishay quality standards and guidelines. The role involves establishing and maintaining quality control procedures across inbound, in‑process and laboratory testing, as well as handling non‑conformances and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering and production activities to meet Vishay quality standards.
• Develop and implement QC processes for inbound, in‑process and lab test routines.
• Manage complaint handling, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct onsite production quality audits and inspections, initiating immediate measures when needed.
• Evaluate and report on production quality performance, supporting the definition of effective measures.
• Participate in quality meetings with production and plant management.
• Perform non‑routine technical analyses to support function‑specific concepts.
• Support engineers in the design, realization and implementation of assigned processes or technical infrastructure.
• Document training plans and provide local subject‑matter support as a key user.
• Assist with assembly, installation, set‑up, programming and testing of technical modules, documenting results accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience contributing to engineering and production processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain quality control procedures for inbound, in‑process and laboratory testing.
• Experience handling non‑conformances, conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong audit and inspection skills with the capacity to act promptly on findings.
• Effective communication skills for participation in cross‑functional quality meetings.
• Technical aptitude for supporting process design, documentation and training activities.
