Project Supervisor – Architects & Engineers (Temporary)

About the role

The Church is seeking a temporary Project Supervisor to lead the development and construction of various building projects, including meetinghouses, seminaries, institutes and welfare facilities in the Dominican Republic. The incumbent will ensure projects meet cost, quality and schedule targets while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service providers such as architects, consultants and contractors to achieve performance standards.
• Analyze project data continuously to improve cost, quality and timeliness.
• Support Operations and Maintenance functions by providing construction expertise.
• Oversee acquisition of real‑estate properties to align with construction timelines and budgets.
• Provide project management assistance to stake presidents within established policies.
• Share knowledge with peers and contribute to professional development.
• Participate in training to enhance professional competence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of construction field experience, including project management or supervision.
• Proven leadership, negotiation and public‑relations abilities.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with ecclesiastical leaders, real‑estate agents, architects, engineers, contractors and government officials.
• Basic estimating, scheduling and analytical skills.
• Competence with computer tools for cost control and scheduling.
• Professional certification in a related field is preferred.
