Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner will support Eaton’s ADMIN division by creating and managing master production schedules, ensuring customer service targets, inventory levels, and factory capacity are aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and adjust the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet service, lead‑time and inventory turn goals.
• Validate marketing forecasts and load plans, perform rough‑cut capacity checks and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor daily production plans, track demand, and coordinate with material teams to address shortages or excesses.
• Manage inventory stocking strategies such as kanban and reorder‑point (ROP) to keep finished‑goods levels optimal.
• Ensure data integrity in the ERP/order‑management system and support ECN execution.
• Report on key performance indicators including Stock Fill Rate, On‑Time Performance, Freight Cost, and Schedule Compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in production planning, master scheduling or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile forecast, capacity and inventory data.
• Ability to work closely with production schedulers, material planners and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems.
• Knowledge of SIOP, MPS and capacity planning processes.
• Familiarity with kanban and reorder‑point inventory methods.
