Planner II – Production Scheduling

About the role

The Planner II is responsible for coordinating production schedules across one or multiple products, ensuring that staffing, equipment, and raw materials align with demand forecasts. This role supports on‑time delivery and efficient use of manufacturing capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity.
• Assign machines, equipment, and labor to tasks, optimizing utilization to meet production goals.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Identify bottlenecks or capacity constraints and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Generate regular performance reports covering on‑time delivery, schedule attainment, and capacity utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., associate degree + 4 years, or no degree + 6 years).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices.
• Strong analytical ability to translate demand forecasts into achievable production plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
