Maintenance Technician – Shift C

About the role

Baxter is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Shift C to support its production lines. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical and pneumatic upkeep of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical and mechanical maintenance, including part replacement and repairs using appropriate hand and special tools.
• Support production lines by keeping machines and equipment in excellent working condition.
• Disassemble equipment, disconnect controls, and remove defective components for repair or replacement.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks as defined in the PM Job Plan.
• Identify potential failure modes in machines and equipment.
• Update equipment across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic disciplines.
• Document maintenance activities manually or electronically to meet required procedures.
• Provide training to machine operators on equipment such as Urania, FF&S, and Kensol.
• Fabricate fixtures or perform minor part repairs in the machine shop.
• Manage special projects assigned by the supervisor.
• Observe and enforce plant EHS requirements.
• Apply basic ergonomic principles to reduce work‑related discomfort and injury.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical, mechanical and pneumatic maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow preventive maintenance plans and document work accurately.
• Familiarity with EHS standards and ergonomic best practices.
• Capability to train operators on equipment usage and safety.
