Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with solid experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and mechanical systems. The role supports production operations by ensuring equipment availability, safety, and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose mechanical failures through technical inspections and appropriate tools, proposing effective solutions.
• Carry out repairs and adjustments on equipment, components, and mechanical systems.
• Follow established maintenance programs, procedures, technical manuals, and standards.
• Accurately document all maintenance interventions, reporting failures, corrective actions, and equipment conditions.
• Participate in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of machinery and mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support to production areas to resolve equipment‑related operational issues.
• Identify improvement opportunities to reduce failures and downtime.
• Comply with industrial safety regulations and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required profile

• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment.
• Ability to perform mechanical assembly, adjustment, and repair of equipment components.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Basic interpretation of technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures.
• Capability to perform equipment setups, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Ability to follow maintenance procedures and accurately document work.
• Understanding of quality requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
