High School / Middle School Teacher

About the role

This position is for a dedicated teacher responsible for delivering high‑school and middle‑school curricula, supporting student wellbeing, and collaborating with school staff to ensure academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design, administer and grade monthly assessments and all assigned work.
• Supervise playground duties and maintain an engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent conferences, and school activities.
• Record daily attendance and manage portfolio assignments per evaluation period.
• Encourage student participation in sub‑committees, community service, and fundraising projects.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and refer concerns to the Psychology Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Commitment to school schedules, uniform policies, and institutional values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools, especially intermediate‑level Microsoft Office.
