Google Ads Specialist

About the role

Thryv is seeking a Google Ads Specialist to guide clients through the lifecycle of their paid search campaigns. The role combines client communication, performance analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver measurable results and maintain high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present performance materials for monthly client review calls.
• Maintain deep product knowledge to educate clients and provide strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate internal reviews with experts to meet client program expectations.
• Assist cross‑functional teams during campaign setup and develop content and targeting profiles for social ads.
• Monitor, measure, and analyze program performance against KPIs, optimizing campaigns as needed.
• Ensure accurate tracking using Facebook Pixels, Conversions API, Call Tracking, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Support proposal development for new and renewal programs and liaise with internal departments to fulfill contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in digital advertising.
• Facebook Blueprint certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of SEM, SEO, website and listings management, social media, and display advertising.
• Self‑motivated, innovative, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
