Firstline Field Service Technician

About the role

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for a Firstline Field Service Technician to join its global team that supports ATM, retail point‑of‑sale and related equipment. You will perform basic installations, routine maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of banking and retail technology assets, ensuring they operate reliably for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize service calls according to customer service level agreements.
• Communicate estimated arrival times to customers and maintain a professional demeanor on‑site.
• Perform basic installations such as pulling cables, mounting devices and installing locks.
• Clear paper, card and bill jams and conduct minor repairs on ATMs and POS equipment.
• Carry out scheduled cleanings and preventive maintenance on locks, vaults and related peripherals.
• Escalate complex service requests when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 0‑2 years of relevant field service experience or an equivalent education‑experience mix.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets company fleet requirements.

• Preventive maintenance inspections.
