Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer

About the role

The Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer creates detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems, ensuring they integrate smoothly with other building trades. The role works closely with HVAC, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts and support project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with HVAC, structural, and other trade teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Use AutoSPRINK software to design and detail sprinkler layouts.
• Apply Autodesk ReCap for 3D scanning integration when required.
• Review project specifications to ensure compliance with codes and industry standards.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.
• Maintain documentation of design changes, coordination meetings, and fabrication schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design, fabrication, or coordination.
• Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical abilities and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoSPRINK (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Autodesk ReCap (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, fabrication processes, and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
