Facility Manager

About the role

EthosEnergy is looking for a Facility Manager to lead the operation of its plant in Manzanillo, Dominican Republic. The role reports directly to the Operations Director and serves as the primary interface with the facility owner’s representative.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable, and economical operation of the facility in line with O&M agreements, contracts, permits, and regulations.
• Oversee environmental and regulatory reporting, testing, and compliance activities.
• Lead and develop facility staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
• Prepare the annual budget, operating plan, and monthly variance reports.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, cost control, and overall cost management.
• Communicate regularly with site staff, management, owners, vendors, and external agencies.
• Coordinate maintenance and outage planning, and deliver detailed outage reports.
• Provide recommendations for plant upgrades with cost‑benefit analysis.

Required profile

• Proven track record of achieving operational goals in a facility or plant environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing budgets, operating plans, and financial reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
