Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability of electromechanical equipment used in manufacturing. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of automated systems, contributing to higher productivity and safety on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC machines, conveyors, packaging lines, power and test systems using established procedures and CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, including PLC‑controlled equipment and robotics.
• Use diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to isolate faults and execute quick repairs.
• Assist with installation, calibration, commissioning, and upgrades of new manufacturing equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history in the CMMS.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory and initiate procurement requests as needed.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, operators, and engineers to identify recurring problems and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma; associate degree or vocational certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience maintaining electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with EHS, OSHA, GMP, and other industry safety standards.
