About the role

The organization seeks a Director of Projects to lead, plan and control its entire project portfolio. Based in Santo Domingo, the role requires on‑site presence and frequent travel to construction sites across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of medium and large construction projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality and contractual compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets using industry‑standard tools.
• Monitor physical progress and financial performance, identifying and correcting deviations early.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and on‑site personnel.
• Manage public procurement processes, bids, and relationships with state institutions.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Active CODIA registration (mandatory).
• 5–7 years of experience directing construction projects, preferably with public sector involvement.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and handle large‑scale site operations.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Advanced Excel skills for budgeting and schedule control.
