Director of Revenue Management - Luxury Caribbean Resort

About the role

Hutchinson Consulting is recruiting a Director of Revenue Management for a prestigious luxury destination resort in the Caribbean. The resort offers luxury accommodations, private villas, championship golf, spa and wellness, extensive food and beverage, weddings and group business, and has grown for several years in a row. This is not a rooms-only role: it covers total resort revenue, including golf, spa and ancillary streams, and calls for an entrepreneurial revenue leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run revenue management strategies across accommodations, golf, spa and other resort revenue centers.
• Maximize total revenue and profitability through pricing, forecasting, inventory management and business mix optimization.
• Analyze demand patterns, market segmentation, seasonality and guest spending to find new revenue opportunities.
• Work with senior leadership, reservations, sales, marketing, golf, spa and finance teams on commercial performance.
• Evaluate group, wedding, golf and leisure business opportunities.
• Improve revenue forecasting, reporting and analytics.
• Create pricing and packaging strategies for the resort's diverse amenities and experiences.

Required profile

• Senior-level revenue management experience in a large, complex luxury resort or destination hospitality setting.
• Expertise beyond guestrooms; golf and spa revenue management experience highly desirable.
• Proven success across leisure, group and ancillary segments.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, pricing and commercial strategy skills.
• Entrepreneurial, independent thinker and collaborative leader able to work with senior executives.
• Caribbean, Mexican or international luxury resort experience is an advantage; willingness to relocate is required.
