Business Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative to prospect, qualify and book meetings with high-potential customers. The role is fully remote and focuses on generating pipeline for our sales team through strategic outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and qualify prospective customers using multiple outbound channels.
• Build and maintain targeted prospect lists with various tools, databases and research methods.
• Analyze market signals, hiring trends, technology stacks and other indicators to uncover sales opportunities.
• Execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Generate interest and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and sales leaders.
• Continuously refine prospecting strategies to improve conversion rates and pipeline generation.
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity records within the CRM.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimise messaging, targeting and outreach effectiveness.
• Proactively create new lead pools, industries or market segments.
• Consistently meet and exceed activity, meeting and pipeline generation goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, SDR, BDR or outbound sales.
• Strong prospecting and research skills with a hunter mentality.
• Self-directed, resource‑ful and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, curious and eager to learn.
• Resilient, competitive and motivated by ambitious goals.
