Assistant Materials SCM (Sourcing)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Materials SCM (Sourcing) to support the introduction of new products and VAVE initiatives. The role focuses on creating quotations, evaluating suppliers, maintaining the ESSP, and providing general sourcing support within the supply chain function.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers and manage quotation requests across material categories.
• Support engineering and industrialization teams by obtaining and evaluating quotations within required timelines.
• Analyze received quotations, perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, and recommend the best supplier according to current SC policies.
• Lead the approval process for PFA, ensure RoHS compliance for new components, and place purchase orders for parts, tools, and samples.
• Update suppliers with engineering changes and keep the ESSP and Project Tracker current with project status and completion forecasts.
• Participate in project meetings, provide general sourcing support, and assist with prototype development.
• Follow EHS training, 5S/MESH requirements, and Eaton safety policies.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or ERP system handling.
• Preferably prior experience in purchasing positions.
• Technical certifications in Supply Chain are a plus.
