Asistente Administrativo Contable

About the role

The company is seeking a proactive Administrative Accounting Assistant to manage the full accounting cycle, ensure compliance with Dominican fiscal and labor regulations, and provide reliable financial information for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and keep the company’s accounting cycle up‑to‑date.
• Prepare month‑end closings, reconciliations, financial statements and management reports.
• Handle all tax obligations with the DGII, including ITBIS, IT‑1, IR‑17, and related forms.
• Manage payroll, TSS contributions, labor novelties, vacations, benefits and other statutory labor requirements.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and payment scheduling.
• Control cash flow, bank balances and financial commitments.
• Organize, strengthen and follow up internal administrative processes and controls.
• Identify inconsistencies or risks and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure all operations have proper documentation, supporting evidence and authorizations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and administration roles.
• Proven experience managing the complete accounting cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Dominican fiscal processes and DGII obligations.
• Experience with TSS, payroll and Dominican labor legislation.
• Understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow and financial statement preparation.
• Analytical, proactive, organized and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Intermediate‑advanced Excel.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
