Analista de Contabilidad

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will ensure timely recording, analysis, and reconciliation of all accounting operations. The role involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, auxiliary ledgers, provisions, and interfacing with accounting systems to guarantee accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Process, validate, and perform daily reconciliations of accounting transactions.
• Record and prepare both manual and automatic entries in the accounting system.
• Classify taxes, expenses, and revenues correctly against liabilities.
• Prepare auxiliary ledgers and ensure they reconcile with the general ledger.
• Prepare, balance, and analyze provisions.
• Review and reconcile automated accounting processes.
• Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies in accounting records.
• Distribute cost centers and benefits accurately.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing requested information promptly.
• Enter and review manual entry bulletins and manage accounting interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, ledger maintenance, or auxiliary ledger preparation.
• Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within established policies and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using accounting software and related IT tools.
