AI Agent Developer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Agent Developer to design, build, and maintain production‑ready AI solutions, primarily for contact‑center environments. The role combines hands‑on software development with deep knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, and secure system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and operate AI agents and LLM‑powered applications that understand requests, retrieve data, apply business rules and invoke authorized APIs.
• Create reusable tools, orchestration services and APIs for internal CRM, reservation, payment and other enterprise systems.
• Integrate AI agents with Genesys Cloud across voice, chat, SMS and WhatsApp channels, providing virtual agents, real‑time assistance and after‑call automation.
• Build an internal knowledge assistant using retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) to surface approved company information with citations.
• Implement robust security, authentication, RBAC, logging, monitoring and production support for all AI services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software‑development experience, with strong C# and .NET expertise.
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs, webhooks and third‑party integrations.
• Practical experience developing applications that use LLMs or generative AI, including prompt engineering and tool/function calling.
• Proficiency with relational databases, SQL and secure API design (authentication, authorization, RBAC).
