Agentic Software Engineer (GitHub Copilot) – Remote

About the role

FullStack is seeking an Agentic Software Engineer who will work remotely with U.S. clients, leveraging GitHub Copilot as a primary development tool. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver AI‑augmented software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client teams and contribute to full‑stack development projects.
• Use GitHub Copilot to generate and coordinate code across large, multi‑file systems while maintaining architectural oversight.
• Design and implement AI‑first development workflows from specification through deployment.
• Conduct disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop reviews and risk‑adjusted validation for high‑impact features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support asynchronous collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Authorized to work full‑time in the country of posting.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Deep experience with full‑stack architectures (Java, Python, C#, React, Node.js).
• Extensive use of GitHub Copilot for AI‑driven code generation.
• Strong context‑engineering skills for structuring codebases and specifications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Lean principles.
