About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and highly organized Senior Medicaid Case Manager to guide seniors and their families through the complex Medicaid application process. The role blends deep empathy with strong analytical abilities to ensure every application is complete, accurate, and compliant with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the financial documentation process performed by the support team, reviewing 3‑5 years of bank statements, asset disclosures, tax returns, and legal documents.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the entire application package before submission.
• Conduct sensitive interviews with seniors and their families, explaining Medicaid rules in clear, reassuring language.
• Provide a calm, patient presence for clients experiencing stress or cognitive decline.
• Serve as the primary liaison among clients, financial institutions, legal representatives, and Medicaid offices to resolve queries and provide additional information.

Required profile

• Extreme attention to detail and a passion for organization.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with genuine warmth for the elderly.
• 2+ years of experience in case management, social work, elder law, or medical billing.
• Direct experience with long‑term care Medicaid applications is highly preferred.
• Strong critical‑thinking abilities to navigate bureaucratic obstacles.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
