Network Engineer – On-site (Santo Domingo)

About the role

Teleperformance is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Network Engineer to join its Santo Domingo team. The role involves handling requirements, incidents, and requests for the networking area, ensuring solutions meet defined SLAs for internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve networking requirements, incidents, issues and service requests in accordance with SLA commitments.
• Monitor network capacity and guarantee performance within accepted thresholds.
• Implement and enforce security measures, including hardening procedures and access policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of processes, security policies, and infrastructure inventory.
• Coordinate with other IT areas to resolve technical issues and support cross‑functional projects.
• Handle network provider interactions, configuration requests and incident reporting.
• Propose and lead improvement projects to increase service availability.
• Participate in client meetings, audits and support the rollout of new services.
• Produce accurate reports and manage Service Desk and CCT activities within SLA limits.
• Provide 24/7 support for network infrastructure, including incident and improvement management.

Required profile

• Degree in Systems, Electronic, Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
• CCNP and PCNSA certifications (or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting LAN/WAN/WLAN and network security infrastructure.
• Experience with network device configuration, monitoring and capacity planning.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Expertise with Cisco, Extreme, Aruba networking equipment.
• Proficiency with next‑generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Understanding of security hardening, access policies and NGFW concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with network monitoring and capacity management tools.
• Familiarity with CCNP Data Center, PCNSE or FCP Network Security certifications (desired).
