Supply Chain Development Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Development Coordinator supports the Supply Chain Development Manager in executing the supply chain strategy for a global business unit. This role focuses on aligning customer needs with Jabil’s overall supply chain objectives while building expertise for future leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Development Manager to manage customer supply‑chain relationships and ensure clear communication of requirements.
• Champion the implementation of Jabil’s standard planning and inventory strategies, customizing solutions where necessary.
• Drive the systematic process for receiving, evaluating, and fulfilling customer demand, maintaining an achievable Master Production Schedule.
• Develop and supervise product launch and transfer plans, managing buffer inventory and ensuring continuity of supply.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports, assist in cost recovery of excess or obsolete inventory, and recommend initiatives to reduce inventory costs.
• Communicate customer needs to Commodity Management, Operations Materials Management, and Business Unit Buyers.
• Manage periodic material quotation cycles for strategic commodities and support RFQ execution.
• Identify, qualify, and negotiate with new or alternate suppliers, focusing on pricing, payment terms, and supply‑chain optimization programs.

Required profile

• Motivation to develop a career in supply chain management and progress to a manager role within 2‑3 years.
• Ability to work closely with customers and internal cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for inventory and cost analysis.
