Sr. Facilities Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Facilities Technician to lead daily activities of the Facility Support team and oversee moderate‑complexity maintenance across a wide range of building equipment and systems. Working with limited supervision, you will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and environmental systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical, painting and plumbing repairs on company equipment and facilities.
• Document and follow up on pest‑control activities.
• Supervise installation, relocation and re‑installation of new or existing equipment.
• Maintain and repair air compressors, air dryers and vacuum systems that support production.
• Conduct basic engineering calculations for proposed equipment and update mechanical drawings as needed.
• Service air‑conditioning and ventilation units according to manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare maintenance records, diagnose problems, and carry out routine inspections.
• Follow preventive‑maintenance procedures and ensure proper documentation.
• Comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations and support EHS initiatives.

Required profile

• Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
• Experience with light construction tasks such as sheetrock installation, painting and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety standards, operating instructions, maintenance manuals and mechanical drawings.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and lift up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) as required.
