QA Technician – Turno B (Tech 2)

About the role

This position supports the quality assurance function in a high‑volume medical device manufacturing environment. The QA Technician performs routine inspections, records results, and collaborates with engineers to ensure product compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inspections of components according to specifications.
• Interpret inspection requirements and ensure accurate execution.
• Enter inspection data into JDE and flag any non‑conformities.
• Work with engineers on project‑related inspection activities and investigations.
• Document non‑conformities in collaboration with the Quality Representative.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent technical degree.
• At least 2 years of inspection experience; 2 years of process or product experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, especially with MS Office.
• Ability to read and comprehend English technical documents.
• Moderate understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and inspection software, and adherence to EHS and quality guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team under supervision.
