About the role

World Vision is seeking a Logistics Officer / Driver to support the National Office in Santo Domingo. The role combines logistical coordination with hands‑on vehicle operation to ensure smooth transport, warehousing, and inventory processes for the organization’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all logistics functions of the National Office in line with local and global policies.
• Provide effective transportation services, manage vehicle reception, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
• Handle transport requests, coordinate relocation processes, and follow vehicle maintenance plans.
• Organise and transport equipment for internal and external events.
• Receive and distribute goods to designated areas.

Required profile

• University student.
• Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical vehicle transport services, especially on difficult or complex road networks.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal clients.
• Experience in NGO‑related operational processes is preferred.
• Must be licensed and capable of operating mechanical vehicles.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Windows operating system.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of national road networks.
• Logistics management.
• Inventory management.
• Vehicle operation (driving mechanical vehicles).
