HubSpot Email Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HubSpot Email Marketing Specialist / Developer to design, build, QA, and optimise high‑performing marketing emails within HubSpot. This hands‑on role blends deep email marketing knowledge with technical expertise in HubSpot, HTML/CSS, and HubL, working closely with marketing, design, and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and configure marketing emails in HubSpot Marketing Hub using drag‑and‑drop and custom HTML/HubL templates.
• Create and maintain reusable, modular email templates and custom modules.
• Implement personalization tokens, smart content, dynamic modules, and audience segmentation.
• Develop responsive HTML emails for HubSpot and third‑party sends.
• Set up and QA one‑time campaigns, nurture sequences, and automated workflows.
• Test emails across Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, mobile devices, and other major clients.
• Perform pre‑send QA including links, UTMs, personalization, rendering, accessibility, and spam checks.
• Create and manage A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, layouts, preview text, and send times.
• Monitor deliverability, bounce rates, spam complaints, engagement, and sender reputation.
• Track performance via HubSpot dashboards and prepare regular reports.
• Leverage HubSpot AI tools such as Breeze to improve efficiency and optimisation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying marketing emails in HubSpot.
• Strong proficiency with HubSpot’s email builder, custom modules, and HubL.
• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS for email, including inline styling and table‑based layouts.
• Experience creating responsive emails that render correctly across major clients.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
